Chou En Lai Scholarship

The scholarship is named after Chou En Lai, who served as China’s first Premier in the regime of Mao Tse Tung, and paved the way for China’s unprecedented emergence from a feudal, pleasant society to world’s most advanced economy. A modest amount of money is awarded to the students on the yearly basis as stipend. Students can use this award as significant hallmark achievement in the early stages of their career. The selection committee headed by Pro-Vice Chancellor and faculty members from the Department decides the award on the basis of the academic merit and interests of the applicants.
